Calcium alginate dressing 5x5 - box X 20u Cranberry

Bioactive pad-type dressing ideal for wounds and/or ulcers with moderate to abundant exudate. In volume they absorb up to 20 times their weight. Upon contact with the wound, sodium ions are absorbed and calcium is released, forming a gel that provides a moist environment, favoring angiogenesis (cell growth of healthy tissue). This gel reduces odor in a wound and is also biodegradable.
