Hydrogel 15 Grs

The goal of the hydrogel is to cause autolytic debridement in a wound bed, through the effective and controlled moisture of the gel. Autolytic debridement is the removal of necrotic, slough, and/or fibrin tissue from a wound. These tissues are dead, they take up space and prevent the healthy tissue of a wound from healing, therefore, it is essential to eliminate them to allow the granulatory (healthy) tissue to heal in a functional and aesthetic way in the patient. The wound, upon contact with the gel, activates a series of metabolic actions that stimulate the wound's own enzymes, moisturizing and degrading the aforementioned tissues, which are removed through mechanical drag in advanced wound healing.
